Klees Named A 2025 Everyday Hero

Mike Klees, Parts Counter Associate based in the Muncy, PA, branch was recently honored with a 2025 Everyday Hero Award presented by Woodlands Bank. The Woodlands Bank Everyday Hero Community Service Award recognizes non-paid individuals who provide countless hours of volunteerism and support to a local non-profit. Nominated by the non-profit, the individual gets recognized for their personal accomplishment and volunteerism and also provides the non-profit with the chance to showcase their efforts throughout the community.

Mike was nominated this year by the Special Olympics Pennsylvania – Susquehanna Valley Region Chapter for his more than 20 years of volunteer work with the program. “Mike’s passion and commitment stand out in everything he does to support the organization he serves,” said representatives of Woodlands Bank.

Only three individuals get honored with an Everyday Hero Award and nominations are reviewed by a panel judges. The winners and their non-profits get featured in an awareness campaign, including social media, billboards, and print advertising. Additionally, each non-profit receives a monetary donation in support of their cause.
