Kenworth of Pennsylvania Participates In Second Annual Penn College Diesel Performance Club Truck Show

Carlisle, PA

On March 29, 2026, staff members from Kenworth of Pennsylvania attended and participated in the second annual Penn College Diesel Performance Club Truck Show, held at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Earth Science Center in Montgomery, PA. The event is organized by the Penn College Diesel Performance Club, a student organization known for its hands‑on approach to diesel technology and its nationally recognized drag‑truck project, “Accelerated Learning.” The club’s work centers on a 1959 Mack B‑61 drag truck that has been rebuilt, modified, and raced by students for more than twenty‑five years, serving as a real‑world learning platform.

Kenworth of Pennsylvania was thrilled to be involved in this year’s show by bringing our 2000 Kenworth K100E cabover and a 1978 Kenworth W900 to be on display. Our K100E cabover proudly received both the “Best in Class” and “Best in Show” awards.

“It was a fantastic truck show, and we had a great time talking with the students. Events like this really show the passion and talent that are going to shape the future of the trucking industry” said Ryan Smith, Service Manager based in the Carlisle, PA, branch.

Representing Kenworth of Pennsylvania at the event were Ryan Smith, Service Manager, Lucas Maldonado, Service Technician, Damon Murphy, Service Technician, Shawn Brunner, Service Technician, and Zack Walker, Service Advisor.
