Annual Golf Outing Raises Money for Special Olympics Pennsylvania

Carlisle, PA

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, Motor Truck Equipment Company/Kenworth of Pennsylvania, Carlisle branch, hosted its annual golf outing for customers, vendors, and staff. The event was hosted at Range End Golf Club in Dillsburg, PA, and was well attended by more than 165 people. The golf outing also doubled as a fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics Pennsylvania, Capital Area Region, with several Special Olympics staff members, volunteers, coaches, and athletes in attendance.

Throughout the day, a series of fundraising activities took place on the golf course with every dollar raised being directly donated to Special Olympics Pennsylvania with Motor Truck Equipment Company matching every single dollar donated. By the end of the day, the total sum raised resulted in a donation of $5,400 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

“We are proud to partner with the Capital Area Region of Special Olympics Pennsylvania in support of its incredible mission to empower athletes and foster inclusion through sports,” said Jason Mortelliti, Director of Marketing and Strategic Development. “This partnership reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in our community, and by working together to raise funds and awareness, we hope to help create more opportunities for athletes to achieve their goals and showcase their talents,” continued Mortelliti.

The success of this golf outing and fundraiser is the result of all Motor Truck’s divisions coming together and working toward a common goal, including Kenworth of Pennsylvania, Motor Truck Thermo King, and Motor Truck PacLease.
